PowerTalk Communications is a Nova Scotia based business – established in 1993. Collectively we bring an extensive background of communications training and business leadership experience.

How We Do It

Today’s professionals learn best by incorporating their personal experiences with training and by applying what they learn to real-work situations.

Our learning programs incorporate a variety of accelerated learning techniques, role-plays, on your feet practice, discussions, coaching & expert instruction. This ensures that the learning will appeal to all learning styles and will be retained.

At PowerTalk we believe the most powerful method of learning is through the learning-by-doing approach, also known as experiential learning. In its simplest form, the model has three major components – Do, Reflect, Apply. Our PowerTalk Experiential Learning Model is highlighted in the attached diagram.

At PowerTalk we challenge participants to step outside their comfort zone. Our mission is to inspire leaders to care to be better. Everything we do helps people improve their leadership presence and communication skills; whether in front of the room or one to one.

PowerTalk has delivered communication and leadership training to a diverse mix of corporate and professional clients for the past 20 years. We are committed to the success of our clients and passionately believe in the power of leadership communication. PowerTalk workshops are highly interactive with lots of speaking time and individual coaching.

Our proven instructional design principles and engaging facilitation techniques are applied to all PowerTalk programs.
